Task:WWNC is a TV station hiring new interns. They need knowledgeable and creative meteorologists. You were called for an interview. You will need to present a pilot, a recorded video of you presenting the weather forecast for the weekend based on the weekly data. In addition, you will explain how El Nino is impacting the weather pattern this year all across the country. You can use charts and technology tools such as google slides, PPT, etc. Your pilot must be creative to stand out from the others candidates.

Procedure:
1. Collecting Data:
Remember that you and your group members are responsible for focusing on different NC regions (Coastal, Piedmont, Mountains). You will collect weather data from a North Carolina region for 1 week. You will use the table that is attached to your project directions to record this data. Once finished, you and your group will display the data on a chart. Based on this information you will make weather predictions later in the project. |
2. ResearchYou will use the following websites and videos to explain what El Nino is and how this natural phenomenon is impacting changes on the weather pattern this year across the country. You will record your findings using the Key Concepts Worksheet given to you by your teacher.
